What are the most-educated cities in the U.S.?

Washington, D.C., is the most-educated metro area in the country, with 46.8 percent of its populace over the age of 25 holding a bachelor's degree, according to a report by the Brookings Institute. Bridgeport, Conn., came in next, at 43.8 percent, followed by San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, Calif., at 43.5 percent. The San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, Calif., came in fourth, at 43.4 percent, and the Boston-Cambridge area of Massachusetts rounded out the top five, at 41.9 percent.
