Research firm Universum asked nearly 60,000 U.S. college students to select the five employers for which they would most like to work from a list of more than 120 companies to compile its 2012 list of the most popular employers as rated by college students. The top 10 were:

2. Apple
3. Walt Disney
4. Ernst & Young
5. Deloitte
6. J.P. Morgan
7. Nike
8. PricewaterhouseCoopers
9. Goldman Sachs
10. KPMG

Universum also asked more than 140,000 undergraduate college business and engineering students in a dozen global markets about where they would most like to work. The top 10 were:
