U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report's Education section is one of the most comprehensive sites for information about all things higher education -- from applying to college as a high school student to graduate school admissions to career advice to news about the higher education community.

A few of the best resources are the Student Loan Center, the College Test Prep Center, the Online Education Center and the Student Center, which includes feature articles, campus slideshows, a guide to admissions, test-taking tips and more. We love the Road Trips section, which features video footage of U.S. News reporters visiting 48 college campuses across the country and talking to students and faculty there.

Essential to perhaps every prospective college student is U.S. News & World Report's annual college rankings of the Best U.S. Colleges, Best U.S. Graduate Schools and the World's Best Universities.
